Lumley has provided me with a number of opportunities to advance my career.
My new role is to proactively identify operational functions in all Broker Claims teams, and to work closely with our portfolio managers to ensure collaboration across the claims units. Another important part of my role is to lead the debt recoveries unit where I will be exploring strategies for wider operational and financial opportunities for the recoveries team across Lumley.
The insurance market changes constantly and I feel that at Lumley we’re in step with that change without losing any of our vibrant culture. Our focus is to be the best in the market, and it’s encouraging to see that our senior leadership team set the benchmark for this by example.
As a company, I believe we are truly living the Lumley values; working as a team and being accountable, which is changing our clients’ perceptions of how we do things, and what we are capable of achieving as a company.
Our CEO, John Lyon, regularly walks around the office visiting teams in all areas of the business. He knows who everyone is and let’s us know how the company is performing. It’s a hugely motivating influence and means that we’re tuned in, that everyone is listening and looking for fresh ideas to keep Lumley ahead of the game.
